Sarah & Benny's Emotional Chateau Wedding

November 2, 2015 Matthew Willsher

So finally I am able to share the stunning wedding day with you all from last summer. We showed you a little preview last year.

Flying out to France to shoot a wedding is always lovely but when the bride and groom are Benny and Sarah it is even more special. To be fair this wedding could have been anywhere and it still would have been amazing as everyone that was invited contributed to making the day so fab. This wedding for me and David Wheeler Photography on the photos was just epic in so many ways. What we had to film in one day was amazing, from english vs aussie football match to some hilarious groomsmen golfing in the morning. Then there was the brother of the groom bursting in to song in the church as part of his reading and then that spontaneous lift late in the evening, worth watching just for that alone. The day was full of so many surprises!

The killer moments were the speeches and this is what showed what wonderful people two these guys are. There was not a dry eye in the house even me and David had to wipe the odd tear away (mainly david).

This wedding was a great example of a bride and groom giving us enough time to get some stunning romantic shots and make the most of their location but as I mentioned before these guys could look great on a building site.

Please grab a cup of coffee and enjoy this Cinematic Feature. Teardrop Films can happily travel to film abroad for destination weddings or stay at home in Hampshire, dorset, surrey or anywhere in the UK. Please contact me for more information on the different films that we can create for you.

This day had it all with classic cars, stunning venue in the Elvetham, great speeches, brilliant dancing and to top it off an amazing firework display. This Preview gives a little taster to their feature wedding film that will follow later in the summer. What a top couple Nick and Katie both are, thanks for having us, we loved every minute! Also great to work with the very talented photographer Ben from Ben Moore Wedding Photography.

Louise & Andy - MacEdwards Feature Film

June 9, 2015 Matthew Willsher

Last year we showed you the trailer for the brilliantly unique MacEdwards wedding. A wedding where the bride was pretty pregnant, and all usual formalities and traditions went out of the window. This film really shows off how special the bride and groom are to all their friends, how they don't take them selves too seriously and laugh a lot. They are the nucleus to a fantastic group of friends and family.

The Wedding ceremony was held at Edes House in Chichester with beautiful readings from Lisa & Tariq. We then all moved on to the splendid Richmond Arms Restaurant for supper. The speeches were supplied by the bride Louise and their friends Adam & Kate with a musical interlude from James and there were many laughs and tears as you will see.

This films goes to show that a wedding does not need to be conventional, no cake, no first dance, no bridesmaids or best men, all you need is your mates and family around to share the special moments. Every word that was said about this lovely couple shows just how highly thought of they are and I was lucky to be a fly on the wall filming it all.

Please enjoy a small insight to the life of Louise and Andy. Now baby Etta is here keep an eye out for the first Edwards family film, coming summer 2015.

Charlotte & Edward

May 4, 2015 Matthew Willsher

I have talked in the past about how privileged I am as wedding videographer to film a couples most special day. Being able to share all the emotion first hand is always very humbling. Every wedding throws ups different level of laughters and tears and this wedding was certainly emotional.

Charlotte is one of four children, three of them girls and Charlotte was the first to be given away. It was evident from first thing in the morning the tight bond between the parents and siblings and that this was going to be an emotional day.

Being a father of the bride is very privileged position, I have no idea how I will be if I am lucky enough to give away either of my daughters. Charlottes father was a very proud man indeed and as he reflected on very small but significant memories from her childhood he had everyone in tears, including me as I could relate to what he was talking about and the magic of being a parent!

The wedding was very personal as it was held at the family home and the church was at the end of the park so the father and daughter walk was so memorable for both father and daughter.

Please enjoy this wedding especially the father of the brides words. Charlotte and Ed are a terrific couple and loved every moment of this wedding. I am here to capture the laughter as well was the tears and this wedding had it all.
