Charlotte & Edward

I have talked in the past about how privileged I am as wedding videographer to film a couples most special day. Being able to share all the emotion first hand is always very humbling. Every wedding throws ups different level of laughters and tears and this wedding was certainly emotional.

Charlotte is one of four children, three of them girls and Charlotte was the first to be given away. It was evident from first thing in the morning the tight bond between the parents and siblings and that this was going to be an emotional day. 

Being a father of the bride is very privileged position, I have no idea how I will be if I am lucky enough to give away either of my daughters. Charlottes father was a very proud man indeed and as he reflected on very small but significant memories from her childhood he had everyone in tears, including me as I could relate to what he was talking about and the magic of being a parent!

The wedding was very personal as it was held at the family home and the church was at the end of the park so the father and daughter walk was so memorable for both father and daughter.

Please enjoy this wedding especially the father of the brides words. Charlotte and Ed are a terrific couple and loved every moment of this wedding. I am here to capture the laughter as well was the tears and this wedding had it all.

"Hannah & James - A match made in heaven"

This year I have been very fortunate to film a very special group of friends weddings and if you saw Claire & Stu's wedding highlights you may remember some wedding guests baring their bums at the end. This couple was Hannah & James and like the Brown wedding it was very beautiful with lots of lovely touching moments throughout the day. 

I was joined by the lovely girls from the very talented Lunapics and we had a very creative day together.

Most notably was the brides sister who could not sleep the night before so wrote a beautiful poem to portray the bride & groom. This has been featured in the highlights as you will see.

It is lovely moments like this that make a day so special and that will alway live in the bride & grooms memory but captured on film this memory can be shared for years to come!

Deborah & Frans - A Fabulous Wedding Day

One of the most pleasing part of being a wedding videographer is when my brides and grooms come to me via a referral. I met Deborah and Frans at a Claire & Stu's wedding last year and was so pleased when they contacted me to film theirs this summer. Referrals is the nicest way for to receive a new booking especially when the couple are as nice as they are!

So Deborah and Frans had a beautiful outdoor wedding at the lovely Cripps Barn in Gloucester. The weather played its part and the ceremony was beautiful. 

I was joined on the day by the fabulous photographer Roxanne Holland, from who dispite being very heavily pregnant captured some beautiful shots. click here for a look at her photos from the wedding. 

This couple never stopped smiling and every time I looked at Deborah she was laughing at something. I loved being around this couple as they really helped inspire a very relaxed, fun, emotional and loving wedding. 

When Deborah first watched their highlights she emailed me with:

"Wow! Thank you so much!!!!! It's perfect xxxx, just perfect! X"

This makes it all worth while and I can't wait to see them all again when I am filming at her twin sister, Gemmas wedding next May.

Mr & Mrs Nice Guy Dan Maloney

It is alway lovely to have the chance to film a couple that have spent more than half their young lives together. Vicki and Dan have been together since school and from our first meeting it was evident that they were soul mates.

So on the 27th September is seemed like Essex had taken over Dorset and the South Coast. And what a great set of friends and family that made the long trip to celebrate the wedding

On occasion we are very lucky to film at some amazing venues and this wedding was no different. It was my first time filming at Durlston Castle and our day started nice and early capturing the lads setting up the venue. They were under strict instruction and had their work cut out with putting up home made bunting fairy lights etc. Meanwhile the girls relaxed overlooking their beautiful church sipping some wine while they had their hair and make up done.

I was lucky to have a great photographer Tom and his lovely assistant Rosemary from One Thousand Words to work along side. Working with a photographer where there is a good level of respect really helps both of us with being creative and getting the best angles and shots! you can see Toms blog on the wedding here and the pictures are fab.

The day went so smoothly  and after a beautiful ceremony In Corfe we got some lovely shots of the couple on the beach and then to the castle.

Weddings are about friends and families coming together and was truly a fantastic celebration and I wish Mr & Mrs nice guy Dan Maloney the best future together. Hope you enjoy their film.
